Spring officially begins this year on 20 March at 11:02 – I make that 69 days and 23.5 hours to go.

Here’s a little gem to while away the next five or so minutes…

Tuesday. Officially the worst day of the week. Fact.

You see, Mondays may be turgid, yes, but on Monday despite the aches of acute sleep deprivation, and the possible second-day hangover that bites all over 24s/spirit drinkers in the ass, Mondays involve the joyous reflex of weekend-memory cued smiles. And if the night was so very very merry all you have is flashbacks and pangs of shame, well that breaks up the day nicely as well.

Wednesday is Hump Day, or Bergfest Tag as it’s known over here. Office banter becomes more wayward and there’s usually some cake n stuff.
 

Thursday it’s acceptable to start the party as Friday is just there, right there, see it? So may as well get on it now.
But Tuesday! Bloody flippin Tuesday…

One year today. Time flies - still miss you all the same x

My new favourite superhero...

Yes. Yes you read that correctly. In the adventures of Foreskin Man, the hero who, frustrated by society’s failure to protect its most vulnerable citizens, has taken up the fight against circumcision. 

Now, this has been a pretty major thing in Germany, since the announcement of the planned law making circumcision illegal. 

The debate is a tricky one: on the one hand religious expression should be allowed by individuals, on the hand it is cruel and individuals should be able to make the choice themselves (the nutshell friendly version). 

We shall soon find out whether the Religious Expression or the Informed Consent side wins the legal battle, but one thing is for sure: the Informed Consent side definitely draws some awesome comics.
